The Nacilbupera Guzzle

Whoever examines with attention the history of the dearths and famines … will find, I believe, that a dearth never has arisen from any combination among the inland dealers in corn, nor from any other cause but a real scarcity, occasioned sometimes perhaps, and in some particular places, by the waste of war, but in by far the greatest number of cases by the fault of the seasons; and that a famine has never arisen from any other cause but the violence of government attempting, by improper means, to remedy the inconveniences of a dearth. (Adam Smith, The Wealth of Nations IV.5.44)

Breaking: Eagar Campaign Website Hacked (Updated x2)

Conservative GOP U.S. Senate Candidate Cherilyn Eagar's campaign website has been hacked sometime today--just two days prior to the state's GOP convention--by an unknown person. Visits to her website at eagar4senate.com or eagarforsenate.com returned this awful hacking image:

We denounce this illegal action by the person(s) responsible as an interference with free speech and our democratic process of elections and call for an immediate investigation into this action as well as prosecution for those responsible. The move reminisces of the hacking of Sarah Palin's email account during the Presidential elections even as comparisons between Palin and Eagar have been made.

In lieu of the campaign's website, may we suggest visiting the Eagar Youtube account where we found the following inspiring new videos:

++++ Update 8:38pm:
Repeated efforts to access the website since the posting have resulted in blank pages and once a successful connection. It appears that the campaign is making progress in restoring the website as we have been unable to reproduce the hacking image. An article by the Salt Lake Tribune reports a different hacking image.

++++ Update 10:10pm:
It appears for now the Eagar website is working. We sent an email to Attorney General Shurtleff requesting updates on the investigation. The attack apparently started around 10:30am this morning. An email from the Eagar campaign said the attack came in two bouts, the second following a restoration of the website from the first with no definite "who-dunnit" to point to.

No vote for quitters?

Tonight on the Sean Hannity show, Democratic Strategist Jacques Degraff on Hannity's Great American Panel made the comment "I don't vote for quitters" in reference to Sarah Palin resignation of the Alaska governorship. Just before the quitting comment he said he had voted for Barack Obama/Joe Biden.

A quick refresh of 2008 is revealing: Obama resigned from the Senate halfway through his first Senate term and Biden resigned TWO MONTHS after being elected Senator.

Progressives want negative labels to apply to their opponents, but fail to recognize the beam in their own eye. If you consider Palin a quitter, you must acknowledge that Obama and Biden are quitters, too. This point was missed by the panel but we saw through the irony: so much for not voting for quitters, Mr. Degraff!

There's Something Special About Sarah Palin

Since Nacilbupera became introduced to Governor Palin a year ago, we have become remarkably impressed with her innate sense of love for country, family, and God; her unabashed conservative views; her stunning wisdom and her remarkable sense of integrity. Every time we hear her speak we are enthralled and inspired. We are energized to build our country up and choose the right. Just last night we were listening again to Sarah's April 16th, 2009 speech at Vanderburgh County's (IN) Right to Life banquet. What an inspiration!!!!

Rarely has a national leader has spoken such truths to the soul of Nacilbupera--and indeed America--like Sarah Palin. George W. Bush did it once when he stood on the rubble of 9/11 with a bullhorn. "I can hear you. The rest of the world hears you. And the people who knocked these buildings down will hear all of us soon."

Ronald Reagan, the best President of Nacilbupera's life, did it all the time. His quiet, but firm and reassuring manner got us past terrible inflation, a recession, and a Cold War. When Ronald Reagan said "God Bless America" you knew he meant it. He loved America and was ever the optimist. He was kind and principled; you knew where he stood.

Today Sarah Palin announced her resignation in the near future from her Alaskan Governorship after a healthy but brief transitionary period. Nacilbupera has high hopes she will choose to remain on the national scene and continue to inspire us. We will need her to fix our country after Obamanation is removed from office, to reverse the awful waste, corruption, out-of-control spending, and Chamberlain-esque policies in dealing with those who seek our destruction. We stand ready to support Sarah however we can and look forward to Sarah running for President in 2012.

A Celebration of Mothers

Nacilbupera is grateful for Moms. Nacilbupera has been blessed with a Mother who has nurtured us, sacrificed for us, and most importantly instructed us wisely on good vs. bad choices in life to prepare us to stand before the judgement of an omniscient God. We are also grateful to a wonderful mother-in-law who, although has passed on to a better life, always treated us like their favorite son with love and service.

We also give public thanks for a few public Moms. Nacilbupera is grateful to First Mom Michelle Obama and her sacrifices made to raise two beautiful daughters; what a wonderful example! We are grateful to Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin and her wonderful decision to rear not only a quiver full of children but also a child with special needs.

We are grateful for the Virgin Mary and her special calling as the Mom of our Savior Jesus Christ. And we remember with love also our common Mother Eve, who brought forth the first children to this world.

Mothers seem to have the lowest visible appreciation to work done ratio of humanity; they give their love unconditionally to their husbands and children and oft receive little of worldly benefit in return. Praise to Mothers everywhere!
